Welcome.
I am glad you’re here.
It takes such courage to reach out when you are hurting or overwhelmed. This is a gentle, safe place for you to slow down, be truly seen, and begin healing at your own pace.
The Care
My practice is built on deep empathy and collaboration, offering a safe harbor for individuals to process heavy life events and emotional pain.
I use a gentle, evidence-based approach:
- By blending Brainspotting with Animal-Assisted Therapy alongside Lincoln, my therapy dog, I help regulate your nervous system. My work also incorporates CBT and mindfulness to address the root of unresolved trauma. This combination allows for a soothing therapeutic experience where you don’t have to carry the burden of healing alone. Every session is tailored to meet your unique biological and emotional needs.
Core areas where I offer support:
- Healing from complex trauma and PTSD. Navigating addiction and recovery. Transforming relationship dynamics. Finding peace during mood or self-esteem struggles.
Whether you are a caregiver or a professional in a high-stress role, I work to provide the non-clinical, supportive environment you deserve.
I am here to help you move beyond self-defeating narratives and into a life of authentic emotional health and sustainable, long-term well-being.
Lincoln: Comfort on Four Paws
Lincoln is an essential partner in the room, specializing in creating emotional safety.
As a veteran in the field with me, Lincoln offers a silent, grounding presence that reduces the feeling of overwhelm. His role is to provide comfort, helping you stay present and anchored while you navigate the more difficult parts of your story.
Our goal is to make therapy feel like a natural fit. Lincoln’s participation is always based on your preference; he is here to offer a layer of security and quiet companionship that traditional talk therapy often lacks, ensuring you feel truly held.
Animal-assisted techniques are part of our trauma-focused care, helping to bridge the gap between clinical intervention and warm, organic nervous system regulation.
Together, we work to ensure that Paws for Healing remains an affirming sanctuary for all individuals seeking a compassionate path to recovery.
